It’s about time for another personal post, I think.
In two days, on 12 September, is the local competition of the National Bible Bee. I’ve studied quite a bit during the summer, including on walks with Apple’s iPod shuffle—I had recorded most of the Bible memory passages myself.
I’ll let everyone know how I do as soon as I find out. In the meantime, I’ll be starting my English classes tomorrow.

Have fun! What comes after the local competition? For the winner, I mean. Is there a state level before the national level? And are you and Elsa competing against each other, or are you in separate divisions?

We’re not really competing against the others in our local bee; we’re really given a score that will be compared with the other scores across the nation. The contestants with the top 100 scores in each age group (and there are three age groups) will go to Washington, D.C., for the national finals.
